These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by The Hill Walker, a Holmfirth-based pet care service operated by David Hill. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms, which are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

1. Services Provided
The Hill Walker offers a range of pet care services including (but not limited to): group dog walks, solo dog walks, dog and puppy visits, cat visits, tailored small animal care, and a pet taxi service. All services are provided subject to availability and must be pre-arranged directly with David Hill.

2. Bookings & Payments
All bookings must be confirmed in advance following an initial consultation. Payment is accepted via bank transfer or cash, with flexibility to pay either on the day of the service or shortly thereafter. Clients are asked to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation charge at The Hill Walker’s discretion.

3. Pet Health & Behaviour
By using our services, you confirm that your pet is up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and is fit and healthy enough to participate. Any behavioural issues, medical conditions, or special requirements must be disclosed in advance. The Hill Walker reserves the right to refuse service if a pet is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for the requested care.

4. Liability & Emergency Care
While every effort is made to ensure the safety and wellbeing of animals in our care, The Hill Walker cannot be held liable for injury, illness, loss, or death except in cases of proven negligence. In the event of an emergency, The Hill Walker reserves the right to seek veterinary treatment for your pet. You agree to cover any associated costs. Clients must provide up-to-date veterinary contact information before services begin.

5. Photography & Marketing
The Hill Walker may occasionally take photographs of pets during walks or visits for use on our website or social media channels. If you do not wish your pet to be featured, please notify us in writing.

6. Privacy & Data Protection
All personal information shared with The Hill Walker, including contact details and veterinary information, will be handled securely and confidentially in accordance with UK data protection law. Your data will never be shared with third parties without your explicit consent.

7. Amendments
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
